visiting wyoming

I tried to find a flight with AA into Wyoming, appears airport at Jackson Hole AA is suppose to fly into but comes up on AA site, not happening. I would be either flying from JFK or DFW.

Coming from o/seas and not familiar with other states airports close to Wyoming that AA uses, distance, etc.

Would appreciate suggestions, coming in late October or I could change it to mid-October if weather would be problem. Only have 4 days. Have always wanted to visit this state if only just seeing a little bit in time I have.
cheers

A little background here:

You could consider Delta through SLC with commuter service to JAC.

I've also flown UA into JAC. Looks like they still serve that airport.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is pretty cool! But snow is definitely a possibility in October.

If the OP only has four days for his trip to JAC, a 450 mile drive from Cheyenne isn't very convenient.
