Award Reservation from United - How to fix PNR?

Award Reservation from United - How to fix PNR?

I booked a reservation using United miles. Somehow United passed the US Known Traverller Number (KTN) to the VA system but not the MileagePlus number or contact information.

I tried to fix it on VA's website but got:

We experienced an issue trying to update your information
  • Unexpected error
  • passengers.passenger[0] Known traveller number passengers.change.not.allowed.due.to.disabled.conf iguration
I submitted a request online. They said this was a Mileage ticket so I need to contact Velocity by calling them.

Is there an easier way to fix this? I am also trying to get seat assignment.

The US KTN is not useful in AU, right?

Try to access the booking via the app.
Somehow it works on IOS/Android but not the website.
That's how I access my EY awards tickets operated by VA.

Thanks! The App worked! Interesting that I can even get the front rows of economy without an upcharge. I hope the selection sticks!

and you're correct. Your KTN is of no use here.
