Booking code help

Hi

Was rebooked from QF (canx) to VA. Looking at the ticket when I put my FF number in, it gave me a booking code of /U/. I am guessing the cheeky QF people put me in some travel industry or award bucket.

Of course I will claim ORC from QF, but is there any aspect I can do for VA - even if it is just to have the flights register as one of my four required for the year?

Thanks,

KF

From 2016, so may not be up to date

I can see the up to date chart here

https://www.velocityfrequentflyer.co...-before-19-aug

it does not list /U/ hence my curiousity at that is /U/ and how did QF book it? And would it at least count as a flight segment?

and for completeness UA lists it as no mileage credit? - https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...australia.html
