Check-in at the lounge
Can you check-in for a Domestic flight (that is part of international flight BNE - MEL-HKG) in the Virgin Lounge ?
or do you go to the international or domestic normal check-in ?

You'll be fine, someone in there will be able to issue international boarding passes (if not all)
