You're UC - you can check in so long as the desk is manned (I checked in with bags 5 hours before a flight - had overnighted at LHR and was bored with waiting on the flight when I knew there was a good lounge to enjoy )

The UC experience

Can anyone point me to a thread/post on here which helps guide the new UC user through the experience?

Something like this one on the BA forum?

My wife and I will be traveling UC LHR-IAD next month. We are both seasoned travelers in J (and F using Avios and the excellent advice on the BA board) on BA and Lufthansa, but this will be our first experience of VS, and I'd hate to miss anything.

Any advice gratefully received.

Best advice I can give you is to make sure you leave a LOT of time to spend at the LHR Clubhouse, and brink your swim suits

There is lots of info about UC and the CH on the VS website so I'd have a look at that first and then come back with specific questions if they are not answered there.
