SAU Upgrade -> check-in or not check-in

I've got a SAU (for a customer service issue) --> should I check-in online as early as possible or check-in at the counter to maximize my chances?

I think you should do OLCI as early as possible in order to get the best seat possible in your original cabin class - in case the upgrade dosen't materialise.

If you don't check-in until you get to the airport you will have a limited choice of the remaining seats
