bmi earn/spend partnership ends 31/08/2012

No surprises here!

As the bmi operation comes to an end it is with regret that the Flying Club agreement will terminate on the 31st August 2012.

The surprise is that even VFC redemptions on BD must be flown by 31.08.2012.

If the same is true in reverse, it's upset a potential 2013 plan for me.

It says this:
All existing reward bookings on bmi for travel on or after 1 September 2012 will be honoured.

(My bolding.)

See?

A reciprocal message has not yet been sent to Diamond Club members. There's a suggestion in the bmi forum that BA will advise details in due course.

Ok, I guess you are talking about new bookings, and I thought it was about existing ones... they are saying that any existing bookings will be honoured, but yes new bookings are restricted.
