Welcome to the Virgin board.
There is a programme called MilesMoreFriends which credits the referring club member with extra miles when you take your first flight as a new member, but not one that (I know of) which gets you a sign up bonus.
I'd, of course, be more than willing to be your MilesMoreFriends referrer
