New seats to beat BA
Just heard from a VERY reliable source that Virgin will be launching its new Upper Class seats in April. They are meant to beat BA's NCW seats hands down. I can't wait......

The problem with Virgin though is consistency. It's difficult to know which seat you'll get. At least BA has the same seats on all planes for each route.

Can we realistically expect VS to throw out the J2000 seat so soon after introduction? Given the perilous state of airline finances will the accountants let them?

Just posted on the VS Fan website by VS Crew Member (and I've no reason to disbelieve he/she isn't crew based on other posts);
"There is a new Upper Class seat being developed which will be a flat bed.......but that's all I know about it."
So, more fuel for this thread. Richard - did your chat with CEO Steve reveal any more details?

Qucik correctionit was the COO and not the CEO.
He asked me what I thought of the J2000 seat, and I told him my thoughts that I actually like it. I have no problems sleeping or gettign comfortable in it.
His next comment - "You wait until you see the physical changes, you ain't seen nothing yet!"
Thanks,
Richard
