Status points not resetting

Based on what happened last year, it usually takes a few days for them to reset points...basically to avoid someone being right on the edge of status and then losing status because a flight on 12/30 or 12/31 doesn't post in a timely manner. IIRC they sort of "hold the door" for most of the first week of the year.
As a good example, my last flight was on 12/29 but my status points did not show up until this morning.
