MCS on SFO -> PDX
Hello. What's the service like in MCS on the SFO -> PDX 8:50pm flight like? Am I able to get a sandwich and a couple of complimentary cocktails in such a short flight? The price for MCS is only slightly higher for MC for September.

I regularly fly SFO-LAS and back, which is an even shorter flight.
I have always been able to get a snack and meal or snack box and 2-4 drinks. I fly F but I believe that they offer the same speed of service to MCS (inluding a pre-takeoff drink, if you'd like one)

Yes in Main cabin select, you can order unlimited snacks and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, with only a few exceptions. However I am not sure if sandwiches or salad are available on these flights though. Fresh food is only available on flights longer than three hours.

On SFO-PDX you can def get a few drinks and a meal. I don't know what food they serve on short hauls exactly (last time I wanted to eat on a short haul was over 6 months ago) but they def have plenty of choices.
If MC vs MCS is only a small difference, I think it's worth the $ to do MCS. You get the points for it (instead of the MC points with no extra for MCS/F upgrade) and you can get a drink or four if you want plus some food. (And the extra legroom is nice, too!)
