IAD Lounge Access
I am flying out of IAD in first so I can access the Virgin Clubhouse and pay $35 for entry which is okay.
Reading up VX operate out of the B terminal and gates B75 & B79.
The Virgin clubhouse is located opposite B32 according to Wikipedia...
So I assume this is a 5-10 minute walk from B32 to B75 and it's all in the same terminal according to http://www.metwashairports.com/_/fil...dterm_mezz.pdf
So international flights leave from nearby gates to domestic flights?

Most domestic flights do not leave from this vicinity, but VX flights do (and I think B6, as well). Same thing in SFO, where VX uses the international terminal. In SFO it is because the gates are public use (while they wait for the completion of T2). It might be the same at IAD, but I don't know.
