I just got back from a long weekend in Bermuda and it was perfect. Not officially the US, but it might as well be. Almost all the flights from BDA are to the US, the electrical outlets are the same, their cable TV system even has all the same TV channels as you'd find here (including network affiliates from Miami). Everything's easy (albeit a little expensive). There are some things to do (neat caves, walk around Hamilton, which is actually kinda cute, etc) as well as good restaurants, beaches, golf, tennis. US customs preclearance back to the US. It was mid 60s our first couple days then mid/upper 70s after. It's just about never below about 55 or above 90. You can stay at one of the Fairmont properties if you want to be fancy. We stayed at The Reefs, which felt like it was the nicest resort on the island before the big brands came in.

No nonstops from ORD, unfortunately, but on AA you could stop in PHL or CLT. It's a quick flight to Bermuda...only 90 mins from JFK and probably a little less than that from CLT.
Can't do outside US for next few months. It's not about cost or distance. But I'll keep it in mind!

I have booked trip to Keys for January. It's not very exotic but it's a lot different vibe than any big city and it's a nice drive... seven mile bridge, Bahia Honda.

How would PSP be in March? Or Santa Fe for that matter? Any warmer or same?

I've never been to the Keys. Mr Gfunk has been to Key West and said it's just an island that people come to to get drunk; there's nothing interesting there.

PSP in March is nice. It will be warm/hot during the day and cool off substantially at night. I went to a friend's wedding in PSP in March 2015.

I agree. That's why I am not going to Key west. Gonna hop on couple of different snorkeling charters in upper keys. It's not gonna be like reefs around Cozumel or Isla Mujeres but I can't think of better area around mainland.

PSP sounds promising for spring.

How would Jackson Hole be in April or early May?

Cold. They only get 60 frost free days a year and those days are not consecutive.... Check the average temps. I think the ski resorts are still operating in April.

My friends that live there tell me that you are taking your chances with the weather even in early June. Often rainy and cold. September is supposedly a better time to go.

I will put a good word in for Sedona however. I've been there in January. It's only a couple of hours drive from Phoenix and the weather was good enough for me to go hiking. Lots of things to do, too.
