I'll drive it for you, make me a decent offer, you don't have to pay for my plane trip to MD or from MT to my house, just pay me for my time, gas and expenses.

East to West Coast Transport?

Same basic question as the OP, but looking to transport 1x sports car (5 years old, but "like new" condition) all the way to the West Coast. Recent positive experiences / nightmares appreciated, especially if you have/ not found it worthwhile to go with the covered option, considering the carrier's liability.

TIA

With the price of gas these days and mpg in the teens, you'd soon regret saying that...

If driven gingerly, even a corvette can break 30 mpg...

So yeah, what is it?

About how much would this run? (I'd be shipping from the Midwest to SF)

Debating simply selling it and buying a new car upon arrival

I dunno, but a late model sports car with a highway MPG in the teens has got to be something good. Probably makes the Vette look like a Prius
