I went from CP to GP. I was not exactly sure if I would soft land to Platinum but they went right for Gold. (64 segments in 2007).
No letter, Gold card package, email or notification of any kind of the new level and only found out yesterday by checking the website.
I will miss the CP angels but expect no other differences, since most of my flights are on US Express.

GP to zip. 15K early in 2007, none after. US preferred since 1997. Might have made the next UA level if I switched earlier. Off to wrestle with the profile.
