Star Gold departure lounge in FCO?
Subject should read "in FCO". We will be traveling through FCO in May. I would like to take advantage of my *G status upon our departure: are there any *A lounges near the US Airways gates?
thanks!
thanks!

There's a contract lounge in the basement. It's windowless and often crowded and loud with many announcements for the many airlines that use it. But I guess it still beats the gate area.

You might want to take a look at this thread from the UA forum that reports no *G lounges in FCO for Y customers. (Of course, if you're flying C or F it is a different story.)

Now of course, US might have something worked out for its *G passengers in Y but it appears it wouldn't be in an official *G lounge. LH doesn't even have one there!
