MoveUp to flight with same departure time?

MoveUp to flight with same departure time?
Anyone done this/know if it's possible? I've got an upcoming flight with one connection that leaves at 3:55 PM. There are two other flights leaving at 3:55 to different locations, both of which have flights to my ultimate destination. May want to change if upgrades don't clear. Alternative flights will have same # of stops as my current itinerary.

In the MoveUp thread there was one post saying someone was able to move up to a later first flight that got them home earlier, but may depend on the agent. Knowing the flight numbers of the other options including connections would probably help your case.
