Given that prior to US joining OW, your *A options for TATL F to Europe were UA F and nothing else, sounds pretty decent to me.
Also, keep in mind that LH F is essentially unbookable by partners more than 2 weeks in advance, and LX F TATL isn't available for partners at all, as well as SQ F, and DL doesn't allow F redemptions, with the lack of YQ, it seems to me at ATM this is probably the best thing going when it comes to US FFPs wanting TATL F. It's ESPECIALLY good if you want to get to India with an RTW routing: CX F to India, BA F from India, with an option of a stopover in HKG or LHR? Not too shabby.

I have one account with 100k+ miles and one with zero miles opened last time they ran this promotion. If an account can only receive 50k bonus miles and I want all the miles consolidated in the account linked to my Barclays cards, is this the best I can do?
Account A to Account B
29,000 + 21,750 bonus = 50750 miles
$290 + $21.75 tax + $30 fee = $341.75
Account B to Account A
50,000 + 50,000 bonux = 100,00 miles
$500 + $37.50 tax + $30 fee = $567.50
End result
Account A: +71,000 miles
Account B: 750 orphan miles
Total cost: $909.25 or 1.28cpm
Account A to Account B
29,000 + 21,750 bonus = 50750 miles
$290 + $21.75 tax + $30 fee = $341.75
Account B to Account A
50,000 + 50,000 bonux = 100,00 miles
$500 + $37.50 tax + $30 fee = $567.50
End result
Account A: +71,000 miles
Account B: 750 orphan miles

In this case, you would end up with 10,000 orphaned miles in Account B. The question is whether you can transfer later those 10,000 miles out (without bonus) back to Account A.

Does anyone know if this would count as an eligible expense for the $200 Amex Platinum reimbursement?
Does it count as a USAirways purchase for the purpose of getting 2miles/$ on the Barclays USAirways credit card?
Finally, does it count as travel with respect to the Barclay Arrival card?

Just got into this promo, great deal. Now time to find some awards. Gotta get used to searching for oneworld promos since I am longtime United flyer.

I am in similar situation as you are. I think you would be better off transferring 30,000 from A to B, and get an additional 10,000 miles (a 30,000 miles transfer gives you 100% bonus, and it is only $10 plus tax more than what you are paying for 29,000 miles).
In this case, you would end up with 10,000 orphaned miles in Account B. The question is whether you can transfer later those 10,000 miles out (without bonus) back to Account A.
