Easy BA Visa/Dining for Miles question
Hi everyone. Just wondering how long it usually takes for miles to get posted for dining visits. (I tried Google search and got a bunch of nothing).
Does it post with the miles from that period's credit card purchases? I dined March 9, posted to the Visa March 12, but hasn't posted to the US account (meanwhile, subsequent 'dines' have posted to AA and NW accounts).
I need it to post to go over a threshhold for a trip I want to take in April, so timing is everything.

sorry I dont have a "great answer" but my sense is that it happens sometimes after your monthly credit card transactions post.
Regardless, mine have never posted "immediately" or even within a week. Its been a few weeks. The problem is, when they post, they have the transaction date not the mileage posting date so it just sort of sneaks in unless you watch every day like some people on here do
[I assume the way it works for the rewards company is that they filter your transactions and look at the vendor ID. There's no reason in my mind why they'd be doing that daily for your account. ]
