Is there any wiggle room with hits posting?

I have two hits that have not posted yet. One is from Office Max and the other from Sky Mall. I have followed up with both and both gave me the standard reply about 6-8 weeks or up to 60 days to post. Both purchases took place in the beginning of October. I have the email receipts, have paid for both items and have the items.

I really dont want to do another purchase but one of these hits would have gotten me to 28 and the other would have been 29 but since neither have posted I am at 27.

Did this happen to anybody last year? I think something like this happened but cant remember what the result was.

Thanks for any suggestions or experience.

Cheers

I would email them tonight if I were you.

I placed my OM order on 9/25 and no points. I emailed them on 10/16 and the points posted on 10/18.

I placed my SM order on 9/20 and no points. I emailed them on 10/16 and the points posted on 10/20.

Yes there is wiggle room

From the GS Rules:

"US Airways will track hits and award bonus miles beginning September 28, 2011, and continue to post miles every other week until March 28, 2012. This is to
ensure sufficient time for all partner activity to be recorded by US Airways."

I've had miles post from both OfficeMax and SkyMall this morning, without any intervention or chasing up from me.
