I stand corrected. It's nice to know that if I fail to get the remaining 160 miles in a reasonable timeframe I can buy credit with iTunes to make up the difference and score the hit. I still think with the current rate of offers ( scored 10 more miles since this morning) this will be unnecessary.

I guess I need an e-miles account for her also. And for my kids.

Work to do . . .

Yeah. I'm stuck at $4.60 now on both. Hoping for a couple of decent ones. But there should be enough time to hit $25.

For my other e-rewards accounts, it's been much faster. But as long as the post date is OK, 8 weeks is fine.

Adobe Connect

Not sure if this is still available to any of you like it was for me, but you can download a free 30-day trial of Adobe Connect thru e-miles and get 500 miles. I signed up on 8/28 and my miles posted today. Now I'm all set for GS!

I was offered The Economist, 12 issues for $12, and 300 emile points, which is a really good price.

When i went back to purchase it the offer had disappeared.

In a really short time I've gotten to $18 and 415 miles respectively without buying anything. Folks should get going on these, but they're doable.

Im sitting a hair under 500 miles at the moment but all of my surverys on erewards boot me out after a few questions and give $0.10 or $0.25 each time. This account is languishing at $10.

Spend a minute of your time 100x or what feels like an hour a couple times. It starts to feel greener either way to me.

Today is the first day in forever that I've messed with emiles. I'm up to 260 already. I got an offer to donate $25 to the USO for 100 miles. It came with a free 3x5 ft flag. My parents need a new flag and retail is $15-$20. So I say good cause gets the money. I get 100 miles. And my parents get a new flag.

I hope the other 240 are easy to get. For the first time in 2+ years that I've even touched the account, I think I did OK. I also still have the adobe offer. After reading another post, I think I'll go grab it now. That will seal it.

The erewards is going to be harder. I only have 4.50 in my account. I just started it. Guess we'll see what happens with it.

I know I can get 4 east hits though:

emiles
credit card
toolbar
shopping mall itunes purchase.

Now comes the harder parts.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

I'm looking to get my E-Miles up to the minimum transfer level for the Grand Slam (500 E-Miles).

Last year I believe there was an e-miles bonus of some sort that brought me up to 500 in a hurry.

This year the email solicitations from E-Miles have been few and far between and I'm stagnated at 180 miles.

Is there any method of getting E-Miles to solicit me for surveys more frequently?

Are there any "silver bullets" (low-cost, high-return) for E-Miles out there?

If I go ahead and "buy" the miles I need, via a charitable donation or magazine subscription, are there any first-person accounts of posting times? I obviously need the miles before the end of the Grand Slam.

So embarrassed.
