What sort of a reservation is it? Viewtrip was never able to display united.com reservations, perhaps this is the problem? I've just tested it on a current itinerary that my TA booked, and it displayed without any problems.

Viewtrip works for my travel agent bookings.
The new My Itineraries feature on united.com has finally started to work well, getting both United-booked and travel agent itineraries with lots of useful information, including fares on the travel agent itineraries if they are e-tickets.

It is an ual.de reservation, which could be seen there until a few days ago.

I am having the same problem today trying to check my upgrade status. I was able to pull up my UA booking up until yesterday. It's been telling me all day "We are sorry, we are unable to retrieve your reservation at this time.".
Anyone else having problems?
