A United 747-400 is performing a low approach at Frankfurt International airport,Germany.
(EDDF - rwy 25L).
This was a retirement flight of the captain,so the tower in Frankfurt ask him, if he would do a low approach. It was filmed from the tower.
Nice fun for the captain, the passengers and the atc controller.

I would not be happy if I wanted to be there early. Otherwise, whatever. But I'm sure somebody on the plane was less than pleased.

From downstairs (and not in the nose)? How plebian?
Plus, taking off on 34L, you'd need to be on the right side of the pretty view (forget the CBD, I mean Bondi).

Dunno if it's the same instance but this thread discusses a similar (or the same) situation of a 744 Frankfurt flyover on a retirement flight. One FT'er was on the flight, two witnessed the flyover and I saw the same plane pass us by over the North Atlantic.
Actually, after reading the other thread with talk of the wing waving I bet this is the same instance.
