They could just take the same approach that VS does in UC: leave a basket of toothbrushes and toothpaste for all to take

Seconded.

I noticed this too and was wondering if it was a one-time fluke or not.
I got the same size tube in my Amenity Kit on 2/24/07 on UA903 MUC->IAD. It is much bigger than the one I got on the way over on UA902 3 weeks previous.
Oh, and would you believe that I got through security with both kits at both IAD and MUC? So much for the War on Liquids and Gels...

Wonder why they needed a bigger tube of toothpaste when they dumped the appetizer from some trans-Atlantic flights? Less food stuck in your teeth now.

Rumour has it that the larger toothpaste will be replacing meal service in C.

That's how LH does it. Very practical. :D

Now it's obvious to me that children should not be in premium cabins. Travel-sized toothpaste tubes do in fact say keep out of the reach of children! :p

What is actual size? Less than or equal to 3 ounces???

But I guess if you were ex-LHR it could be 100 ml! ;)

I did get a red. Got a few black, blue, I think a purple one, I need a bronze and green. I just can't find the bronze ones

But I did notice about the toothpaste size. Now I got something for the hotel night when I missconnect or get offloaded :D

How did you type that with the United pom-poms in your hands? :D :D

My gut feeling is the toothpaste is a promotional placement and the bigger tube wasn't at any additional cost to UA. May have even be due to a supply shortage of the smaller tubes, but more likely Rembrandt thought a larger sample might be more effective at pushing its brand.
