MP problem

Alrighty everyone, got a problem, dont know if it can be solved.

currently I am 1600 EQM from being a 2P (yes a lowly 2p) I got the platinum vise back in August as I have a bunch of trips coming up. I called VISA and they said it posted in sepetember....well according to my milelage plus account nothing posted in sept.....

So I called MP customer service (us call center, real nice woman named kelsey) We conference called Visa to figure out why I dont have the mileage posted yet. Visa said it was posted, MP said no, as do I. My statement from Visa said it was, MP account doesnt have it on it......(reminder my flight is this coming monday) Visa then said well we can send it to marketing and it will take between 7-10 business days to figure out whats up.......well that doesnt help me for my flights out and back next week.

my question is there anything I can do to expedite this? I called MP and they said nothing they can do to bump me up unless I want to use my one exception (no way, since I have the miles) I want to be premiere for these flights, as there are E+ seats available, plus the short security lines.

Just not very happy if I dont get my bonus miles for these flights and im not shown as preimier as I have the freaking miles, just someone screwed up somewhere and I get screwed from it.

Thanks everyone for the help!

here's the problem. eqms aren't itemized when they post. so even if they did post, you certainly wouldn't have a record of it unless you kept your own spreadsheet (lots of people here do), and if you phrased your question to MP the way you just phrased it in this thread, it is likely that MP was looking up RDMs rather than EQMs. the way to check is to add up your flight activity for the year manually, and see how that related to your YTD EQMs.

thanks I appreciate it......I did do that conference call yesterday and went no where. both blamed each other, with me in the middle not being able to have the EQMs which I need by monday to make premier!

Chase said they posted, MP said no, CHase said yes, MP said no, Chase said, ok ill send up the chain, will take 7-10 days, MP said well nothing we can do sorry!
Chase said takes 10-12 weeks to post the bonus (i think thats BS)
MP said it should post after the first statement, which to me was septmeber 7th, and of course I have nothing at all from the 7th from chase visa, no rdms, or eqms, even though on my paper statement it sayd I should 5122 EQM and 475 RDM posted on my MP account

That's strange. Is it possible that Chase has the wrong MP number for you, if they are insisting the miles have posted? Also, was the person you conferenced in at Chase a supervisor? I would start by calling Chase, work your way up to a supervisor, and then conference in MP if necessary. They do have the authority to get miles posted quickly. When I had an issue (failure to credit EQMs for purchases on UA.com), the Chase CSRs also repeatedly told me that they needed to "put in a ticket" and escalate things up, and that there was nothing else a supervisor would be able to do. When I still politely insisted on speaking with a supervisor and received one, she investigated, called me back within three hours, and had the EQMs posted by the end of the day.

A couple of years ago, I activated a MP Visa card and, for some reason, I was assigned a new MP number where the miles were deposited. You may want to double check to see if this might have happened to you. I was able to close out the extra MP account and have the miles credited to my regular MP account, but it did take a little time.

Good luck!

People have had better luck by using the email within the Chase site... but in your case it may cause another loop.

I have also spoken to a supervisor at Chase and they were REALLY helpful, so ask for that. They do have the ability to push it through within 24-48 hours.

Definitely try using the CS email within chase, after you logged into your chase account. I had a similar problem with eqms not posting the the email CS resolved it promptly.
