Beware #1260 DEN-IAD

Yes, thanks for heads up. As I was reading this thread I got a phone call from UA informing me of the changes. 3rd change to two Dec itins for me.

BEWARE: #1260 DEN-IAD is a 777 serviced by TED. Yuch! I will not travel half way across the country in a cattle car.

Only had one itinerary in December as for once I'm going to be able to coast into my status goal instead of having five December trips! I got hit with a 22 minute change, fortunately in the right direction on my ORD-TPA Ted flight, but fortunately they kept the 10C seat assignment.

My change was fortunate. It was on a ticket I could not longer use, and I was holding out so I wouldn't have to pay the $100 fee. The change turned a 3.5 hour connection (what I originally wanted) into a 1.5 hour connection, with no other option. UA cancelled and refunded without question.

Thanks for prompting me to look. I don't think this was due to schedule changes, but I did find my seat assignments were changed for the second day in a row on a SGN-SFO. Fortunately, back to row 15 now, but tomorrow's another day.

There are major changes for next March also. When I called yesterday, I was able to change to the time I really wanted, an hour later than my original flight, although there was another flight only 15 minutes later than my original flight.

I wonder why we should even bother with the changes. I am sure there will be more changes before next March.

Whoa. That doesn't seem like a legal connection. More miles though! ^

What's the basis for this claim?
