Why is SFO-SNA 3x the cost of SFO-ONT?
Checking for a Saturday in October.....
I can fly all day long SFO-ONT for $69 or $79 with an LAX connection.
Same day, virtually same time, flights to SNA are either $210 or, with an LAX connection, $220.
Any wisdom, speculation, or opinions?

The thread title is correct - the OP should just change the second "ONT" in the post to "SNA".
And yes, I know OP is the mod.

I also believe the SFO-ONT flights are Ted, while SFO-SNA are mainline or UX, depending on theflight.

OAK-SNA is $79 with an LAX connection on UA. It's also $59 all in one-way on AS.

Have you ever been to the area surrounding ONT? I think that explains it...

SNA was Marissa's hometown airport, and when she started getting involved with the ONT crowd, all she ended up was dead. And you wonder why fares are more?
