What is the airline code for TED.

I'm curious to know if there is an airline code for TED or is merely UA?

UA.

Little about Ted is distinct from UA. The aircraft, the crew, the ground staff, the gate agents, the spare parts -- everything is UA.

During the boarding announcement, if the captain turns on channel 9, you hear "Since Ted is part of United, our call sign today will be United xxxx".

You'll know it's TED if the flight number is between 1250 and 1699, inclusive.

And usually the only time ATC will refer to TED separately from UA is if the distinctive TED yellow tail will provide a valuable reference point for other a/c ; such as "CO 654, give way to the TED Airbus crossing at Bravo 9."

Yeah, last time I took Ted, the plane was a mainline 320
(something I seldom see on mainline these days, my routes
being 319-ized). The ones who lucked out were the folks who
weren't frequent flyers and didn't know not about the lack of
overhead space on the Ted 320s. I was in 10F, and 10D looked
kind of exercised that he wasn't sitting in the big seats.
