What fares code are upgradable to E+ using EAP?
Hello there.
I'm traveling with my wife to China by end of September. Since my wife's pregnant, I purchased the EAP package so that we can upgrade to E+ on our trips.
I'm currently trying to find the best way to book the tickets. I've called couple of the consolidators, however, none of them know about the EAP program, and told me they can't book me on the E+ seats.
My questions are:
1. What ticket fare codes are eligible for E+? I was quoted mostly W & V from the consolidators.
2. Should I book the tickets with the consolidator then call the EAP program to upgrade both tix?
Since we are expecting our first baby, we are really trying to get the most of our money. If any of you kind souls have a spare "PMO Friends" 15% off vouchers" (I actually only need to use it on two tickets)? I'd love to have it, even for a fee. I'm also new at FT, so I don't access to Coupon Connection, your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I believe that your MP number is automatically "flagged" with E+ access, but this may be limited to united.com and United Reservations access. You can always book with the travel agent and call UA Reservations to make the E+ seat assignment.

Book with your travel agency/consolidator, have your MP number added by them or by calling United, and then check with United to make sure you're in E+ seats.

Thanks a lot for the response. Now I just need a PMO friends 15% to book my tickets.
Too bad I don't have enough days/posts to join Coupon Connection.
Thanks.

BTW, since the United E+ class seats have different pitches, I wonder which seats on the 747-400 has the promised full 35 inch pitch? I coulnd't find that info on the 747-400 thread.

Thanks for pointing out seaguru.com. I went there, and found it doesn't really list seat pitch. Can I assume that any seats in the E+ class in white are 35"?
Thanks.
