According to this older link on UAL.com, it does. This info is gone from the latest UAL.com website, as seen in this link.

So to be clear, the only time you get an EQM bonus (50%) is when you fly UA on UA metal and book a Y/B/C/J/D/Z or First Class fare?

For some reason I thought you also got an EQM bonus for LH transatlantic, or am I confusing this with RDMs?
