Can I ugrade the domestic portion of an Int'l itinerary?

Can I ugrade the domestic portion of an Int'l itinerary?
I have a HNL-SFO-IAD-BRU itinerary. Usually I would purchase a W fare and use SWU, but the fares out out of this world now. I can easily handle the short T/A hop in E+. Can I just upgrade the domestic portion using CR1s? It's all on one ticket.

Yes, it should be possible to do it online.

Quick update : It was not possible on line. Had to call and the friendly 1K agent made it possible.

BTW, HNL-SFO-IAD is very good use of a CR1!
