PassPlus fixed fares
I've been waiting for United to reintroduce the fixed fare PassPlus option. When I checked the PassPlus web page today (http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6722,2964,00.html) it described PassPlus as featuring "Upfront discounts of up to 25% or fixed fares". I don't see a link (yet) to a fixed fare option, but I also don't remember seeing the fixed fare language last time I looked.
Does anybody else recall seeing the "fixed fare" language recently? If it is a change (and not something I overlooked before), it is a pretty good indication that the fixed fare option is about to be reintroduced.

I think you're right that the language is new. One Hong Kong version of the site, http://www.unitedairlines.com.hk/cor...lus/index.html, says that members receive "Upfront discounts of up to 30% for the duration of the active contract".

You're looking for Pass Plus Secure... they closed the program to new members a few months ago to make pricing/zoning changes based on the merger with Continental. Still haven't re-opened it...
