How do you get an e-receipt?

How do you get an e-receipt?

When I try to view/print an e-receipt on .bomb it just brings me to a useless page showing one leg of my trip and no actual "receipt" information (conf #, itin, amount paid, etc.). And that's only if it doesn't return an error.

I can use my confirmation emails but they can end up being multiple pages. Is there any way to get a receipt other than printing one at the airport?

Am I the only one having problems with this on .bomb?

IME, its fickle.... I have some that print off, without any problem. And other that give the "contact United" for a reciept (of the 3 open inineraries I have now, 2 are fine, and print... one is giving me the error)

Also, IIRC I *think* there is a charge if UA faxes or snail mails you a reciept.

FWIW, I just print the confirmation, and for printing preferences select page 1-1 (instead of "print all"), that saves from all the rules, car rental offers, etc.

Just pull up your itinerary, click on "view e-receipt" and then print it. I just checked one of mine, and it works fine.

I always receive an email from UA which links to the receipt. If you didn't receive that, simply call UA and ask for one, they can force it again. If all else fails, you can print a receipt at the kiosk when you check in.

My e-receipts for current itineraries (i.e. those not flown yet) always work. It's the past ones that don't really work for me.

Yesterday I tried to print an e-receipt for an itinerary which finished 2 weeks ago.
Got message "System error. To get a receipt, email your ticket details to UA refunds."
Which I did, and immediately got an automated reply "Your refund will take us 7-10 days, so do not email us again before that time."

I dont know if the e-receipt would have worked while the itinerary was still live.

I am able to pull up past receipts going back 9months and print them. No problem here.
