And now the e-mails have ceased... but I still want them.

Had a flight xcl this morning, the calls came through, twice. Never got an e-mail with the cancellation, rebook info, or any type of notification, which in this case would've been helpful because at 5am seeing the same times and flight numbers can be a touch confusing.

I've got easy updates enabled as well, but one can choose whether to receive it via a call, text or email.

Once when my flight was cancelled, the 1k desk was very proactive in helping me find alternate routes to my destination.

Not Overaggressive but Late
 
Flew at 1700 on 10/7, upgrade processed ~48 hours prior. I received an EasyUpdate for the flight at 0800 on 10/8. First upgrade notification in forever.

I just got an EasyUpdate upgrade notification today for a flight I flew on 2 days ago. Funny thing is, I wasn't upgraded when I actually flew it.

Maybe I should request downgrade compensation :p

I've had an odd experience with easy-update pertaining to upgrades by which I receive notification if I clear at the 100 hour mark but I don't if I clear subsequent to the 100 hour mark. That isn't an absolute, but I would say it is consistent i.e.:

If I clear at the 100 hour window: 100% notification
If I clear inside the 100 hour window: < 100% notification

Been a while since I cleared at 100 hours. Most UDU clearing no earlier than 48 hours. Lately been using a lot of CR1/SWU's and have received no notifications when they clear.

Update for flight I tried to book--but couldn't!
 
A few days ago, I tried to book a standard award on an PVD-ORD-XXX flight this evening. I went all the way through the award booking, put in my credit card, and on the last screen was informed I could not be booked because someone else had grabbed the inventory. (I think PVD-ORD F0 Y1, maybe F0 Y2 on ORD-XXX.) I was not charged and miles were not deducted.

However, I just received an easy-update for tonight's ORD-XXX. :confused: Apparently I would have been delayed an hour and a half, had I been successful in the booking. Perhaps it's UACO's way of making me feel better about missing out on the flight I wanted.

...And as I type this (at home), Mr. Easy Update calls again to let me know I'm now delayed two hours. Mrs. PVDProf looks prettier by the minute.
