EQM on UA/ANA Codeshare?

I should probably know this, but do I get full EQM for UA codeshare flight (bought through UA website) on ANA metal?

Anyone have experience with ANA transpac (LAX-NRT) in standard economy versus UA? I've done SFO-NRT and SEA-NRT on UA. Not that impressed by UA econ., but at least it was econ plus. Thoughts?

Thanks.

The codeshare is not a factor --- all that matters is who is the flight operator.

www.united.com > Mileage Plus > Earn miles > Partner guide > Airlines > ANA

There have been recent improvements in ANA earning

Good question. I don't think that you do...at least not when I flew ANA in 2008.

Question: Does ANA economy have less leg room? I flew business only.

I flew NH911 on 6/13/11 from NRT to HKG. I got 100% bonus miles on this flight (1827 miles x 2).

NH == UA when it comes to EQM/RDM. The only difference is you don't get lifetime BIS credit. (I flew NH in June 2011).
On in-flight transpac Y service, NH beats UA, even with the new UA equipment that's now operating on transpac routes. Food is markedly better + you get a snack bar + decent size water bottle + ice-cream. Ua's only saving grace is E+

One other interesting note, the distance from Taipei to NRT is 15 miles shorter for ANA than it is for United. 1341 vs 1356. Is there 98.91% accumulation factor for H class? (The *A timetable says 1330, so perhaps its just a case of moving islands.)

I would understand if the discrepancy were at HKG, where there actually are different airports with the same designation before/after 1998.

For TPE-NRT to be 15 miles different across carriers, hmm. Maybe UA was using an outdated almanac?

For most codeshares, that's true. However, in my limited experiences with UA-code, NH-metal flights, I actually got 100% EQM/RDM when the fare classes were supposed to be 70%. Perhaps I got lucky on those few occasions (they were a while back), but I have read reports of similar experiences here.
