Cancelling rental car award
The T&C says: Changes to hotel or car award reservations are not available online. However, cancellations may be made online subject to the policies of the hotel property and/or car rental company, and new reservations may be made through the Site.
My question is how do you know the cancellation policy of the car rental company? Or is it the same as when you rent a car and pay for it? In that situation, there is no cancellation fee even if you don't show up (for most companies)?
Has anyone reserved a rental car using miles and then cancelled? Are there any fees?
