West Coast to IAD - any 767s after 12 pm?

Are there any 767 or 777 that fly from the west coast to IAD after noon? Heck, even after 10:30 AM?

Ah, thanks, I was just looking on Monday and so it being completely sold out, I missed it. Seems to be there the rest of the week.

Ugly all the 757 flights

If you are thinking about F or an upgrade, the 757 is MUCH better than the domestic 767-300. The domestic 767 has the narrowest F seats in the whole fleet and almost every seat has an obstructed footwell.

And when did the morning 777 flight from SFO to IAD go from 3 class to 2 class configuration?

If you got/flew a 3 cabin 777 (or 3 cabin 67 for that matter) on 914 SFO-IAD, you got lucky with an a/c swap as that route is either a 2 cabin 67 or 2 cabin 777

As has been stated above, if you're going to be in F, the 757 is much better than the domestic 763's.

Interesting, I did not know that. I must have looked at the seatmap for the international 767. Really I was just hoping for 3 class service west coast to IAD but doesnt look like there really is anything.

Not necessarily - last December I flew SFO-IAD and the morning there / evening back flights were 3 cabin 777s when I booked and stayed that way for quite a few weeks. I knew that it was unusual, but I was definitely looking forward to a nice transcon experience.

Unfortunately, just about 1 week before my trip they switched to 2-cabin 767s and my upgrades were worth a lot lot less (except they were expiring CR1s, so they weren't worth much anyway!).

It's still the 2-class configuration with crappy F seats. I'm probably mistaken, but I have never seen a 3-class plane regularly scheduled on a domestic redeye. Generally speaking, it also seems like UA is cutting the number of hub-to-hub 3-class flights. Using SFO-ORD as an example, there used to be 2-3 3-class flights each way, now there's just one.

Although it is widely panned, the domestic 763 F cabin does have a couple of advatages. It has four aisle seats per row. And the two center seats are great for solo travelers who don't like being disturbed by anyone getting up during the flight. I have never minded the narrower seats all that much, but I'm not very large around the middle, so I fit OK.

The domestic 777 has all these advantages plus real overhead bins and no hum on Channel 9.

The key is "regularly scheduled" as it is the 2 cabin 777/67 which is the regularly scheduled a/c but if one of those is taken out of service, you will most likely end up with a 3 cabin subbed until the 2 cabin comes back into service

I don't remember the flight number, but I flew SFO-IAD twice last year, once in spring and once in the fall, and both times were 3 class 777s.
