Question Skywest?

Booked a ticket on USAirways.com that said it was operated by United as UA 6714. United says its operated by Skywest as OO 6714.

I have two questions...
1. Is this a United Express fight?
2. If I use my United MP # will I get lifetime miles credited for this flight?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes to both b/c it is UA metal flight.
If it was flight operated by US metal, and you credit to UA MP #, you would not get credit for lifetime miles.

Yes, it's a UAX flight. No, it's not United metal.

It counts as UA metal for lifetime miles, CR1 earning, etc. It's just a United Express flight, operated by a regional carrier, vs. being a codeshare.

So can I assume if I were to credit my miles to another *A program (e.g. TK, SQ, etc) for such "United Express operated by Skywest" flights, I will be able to get Elite Qualifying Miles right?

Thanks in advance for your response.
