So THAT's what those NW pilots were doing when they overshot MSP a couple years ago!

You should email him and tell him to keep Channel 9 on, and also tell the other pilots that don't to leave it on

Is it one with the "globe" or "tulip"? Or perhaps just "UNITED"?

For a free alcoholic beverage or a headset. I am in first
Class so I won't use it. But it was a nice gesture.

I am only 1K, but this is my 127th segment of the year.

I do not usually book FF.
Strange that it would offer you a free headset since UA doesn't charge for headsets. Unless that has changed recently to align with CO

Tulip. I figured they were trying to get rid of the old stock.

Funny she said, "other pilots are catching on and doing the same thing... and they can really add up.." LOL

Nice keychain! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a red envelope @ RDU & ORD on Sunday.. Although, I did get a very nice thanks for my business from the GA @ LHR this past Sunday. It appeared that they were personally thanking all GS/F/1K/C pax^

You know DL provides a coupon attached to the BP for drink or snack-box on any itin where a Platinum or Diamond's upgrade doesn't clear, including upgrade impossible CRJ-200's, right?

Less dramatic IMHO, but more frequent IME.

Or snack box? Wow, that's great! I wish UA did that.

Alaska gives any MVP Golds in coach a complimentary alcoholic beverage, no coupon required

This was regarding receiving a note and biz card from the pilot. I have gotten such a note 2-3 times a year for many years. Capt. Denny Flanagan always does this, but I've gotten notes from many others captains, too. It's a nice touch, if they have the time. I think there's no real contact information on the card.
