Delay in ticket issue?

Question Delay in ticket issue?

Just tried to book a ticket via phone for an itinerary that starts with a non-code share Star Alliance flight. Agent told me had to wait 12 hours to get confirmation from LH that they are prepared to sell the seat on the first leg.

Anyone else had this one?
