When does UA sweep their computers?

I ask this because I am darn impatient to see my first ever status on ANY airline show up.

Yesterday with Grantsc, we bought MKE-ORD-SNA-ORD-MKE and ended up with MKE-ORD-LAX-ORD-MKE, thanks to ORD having a groundstop.
It was not easy, 30 min connection times at ORD and LAX. But we managed.

Now my MKE-ORD-LAX flights posted and now I have 61 stinking miles left to have that Premier status show up on my account. But my LAX-ORD-MKE flights have not posted.

Can you believe my first ever status on any airline comes with UA and on a mileage run?

Thanks

UA flights usually post within 24 hours of completion of the flights (they seem to post those miles daily). UX flights sometimes take weeks.

Genearlly speaking, UA and UX flights will post within 36 hours. Never really had an issue with that. Other various Star and partner flights are of course at the mercy of intra-planetary alignment.

As far as advancing levels of Premier-ness, it generally takes about 2-3 days one the miles post showing you're over the level specified.

So you are saying if my miles post later today, and I want to book 2 flights after my miles post, I will not be able to select E+ seats until a few days later?

Ok I just have to book it first since UA is matching WN on ORD-DTW for $88 RT and just call MP later to change the seats.

Thanks

Exactly. Once it shows online that your status has changed, simply call United back up and have them re-enter your mileage plus number into the record (you must tell them that). That will unlock the magic of E+ for you. I've seen cases where even after it shows online Premier, it takes 12-18 hours more for the res systems to sync up.

But yes, book your tickets now, deal with seats later.

MP will see your status before reservations. That usually takes another 48 hours. Book your tix and say I am a 2P and have them look in MP, they will see that you are and open up E+ seats for you manually.

Oh no an update!

My LAX-ORD-MKE miles still have not postd and I called the general MP line and they said they have already put my ticket number in and it will take at least 1 or 2 weeks for it to show up

And for the double EQM promo, all miles are supposed to be in by December 31st. Currently sitting at 24939 miles and that does not pass 50,000 even with the double EQM.

We will see what happens

I flew to RIC from YUL on DL last week. (I know, I feel like I cheated on UA LOL). On the way back, RIC-CVG I get off the plane and head for the ComAir terminal. By the time I go to the laptop lane (No Wi-Fi in ComAir) my miles were already in my DL account.
Amazing..

My flights from the week before took 3 days to post on UA..

DL is pretty swift.

UA...the next day sometimes, but usually 2 days.

United Express can take weeks.

Worst program on the delayed posting front from a provider that I deal with, is Hilton HHonors. Geez you guys. Can't you get your data together faster? Can take 3 to 4 weeks sometimes to post my hotel stays.

Like they're reading the United forum, right?

My last 8 UX flights posted exactly 24 hours later.

According to a 15-year MP service veteran, United's computers sweep for missing credits on Wednesdays. This, I was told last time I called in to request credit.

I flew the 1K qualifying domestic segment on 17 Dec. Miles were posted on 18 Dec (24 hours later). 1K CSR could not pull up my new 1K status until 19 Dec (48 hours later). I was able to access 1K only website today, 72 hours later.
