Baggage Question, Help!
Guys and gals,
I'm flying from SEA to ORD in November on a US Air Flight number which is actually a United flight (UA Metal
?).
I'm Premier Exec on UA, so I understand I'd be allowed 3 check-in bags per the United / Star-Alliance baggage policy, if I were flying United.
Since USAir isn't Star Alliance (and that's the ticket issuer), am I still supposed to check-in at the UA counter?
Regardless of whether I check in at US or UA, will I be allowed to check-in 3 bags?
I've got an infant with me, and checking in 3 bags is very important (preferably without excess baggage surcharges)!
Any pointers appreciated!
Thank you!

From my experience, I have always checked in at the counter of the airline operating the flight, and thus have been subjected to their baggage allowances. You should be alright with 3 bags.
