Granfather conversion was (quietly - only on FT?) offered to elites in May 2007. It does seem that it has been limited to those that signed up in May 2007 (but there has been a few reports of those that recieved RDMs but did not think they had signed up).

Received 9,000 miles for my 18 unused e500's.

Not grandfathered, no miles yet, not that I was expecting any though it would be a nice gesture. I had 12 go poof last week.

Bah, 8 of mine went poof... Oh well.

Just saw that I got 36K for my e500's yesterday.

But, I signed my family up anyway. They weren't 1k at the time, although they are now, and they got the miles anyway.

I dont recall the 1K clause (bolding mine). Perhaps that applied to only US residents, as I was allowed to be grandfathered at a much lower status because I was an overseas resident :D.

YES, my mileage balance is looking much nicer now all those e500s miles have posted. Thanks UA ^, its very cool that you honoured this.

Going to check Mini DG's account now for some more good news.

Hmmm, what is the relevance of the 031 xxx etc account? Mini DG has a similar starting acct number, so this has caught my interest :D. Luckily her e500s have made her account miles more healthy.
