so on a whim I checked my MP account and it still says I'm 1P even though I only did about 5,000 miles on UA last year. and the only reason I was 1P last year was they must have felt sorry for me, because I've only qualified for 1P once, and that was in 2000. I have a little over 500 flight miles for 2003 and that's only because NW put me on UX from GSO to ORD.
weird. I figured I'd be dirt-level after Feb 28. or does UA have a different schedule for status changes? I'm certainly not expecting anything from UA.

Based on the qualification offer that they had you should get another month of your 2002 status.
