2024 United PQF/PQP/BIS Status Milestone Roll Call Thread

11 PQF
15,941 PQP
Qualified for Platinum today on my flight back from Zurich... and crossed 901,000 BIS miles. It's possible that I could break 1MM this year.
13,524 UA Metal PQP - 4,476 PQP away from achieving the GS Challenge. I'm all but certain I'll hit the 18K. I still have the last leg of this trip (IAD-TPA tomorrow morning), which will be another ~300PQP. Plus, I have a ~$2,000 flight credit to use towards this as well due to a personal trip I had to cancel in early Feb.

The real PQF is probably like 500 or 1K
I am grinding to Gold as well at nearly 8K PQP (thanks SK!) with 30+ PQF (w/ or w/o BE segments).
Getting close to Gold on AS as well. Can take a break from DL for a few years with the rollover conversion scheme.

I’ll have to wait until I get home to check on the real PQFs. I know that some of the PQFs aren’t real in that I got them during IRROPs.

PQF: 14
PQP: 17,660
Now on track to hit 1K mid-June. Unfortunately I do not think I have enough high-value flying to do in the second half of 2024 to make a serious push at GS. I would keep spending on my Presidential Plus if I thought it could make a difference, but as of now I have rotated my general spend to the Freedom Unlimited, where I still have the double bonus applicable until October.

Continuing with the grind. Just passed second PQP milestone - Gold
PQF: 34 (more than 40 when including basic economy flights)
PQP: >8K
BIS: about 46K on UA alone; 96.5K on all carriers. Should clear 100K on current trip with 4 carriers (AS, UA, B6, NK) over 4 days.
Adjusted PQP per PQF should be under 150 after removing starter PQP, adjust for non-016 ticket "bonus", and adding basic economy tickets to total PQF.

First PQP milestone (Silver) of the year, the hard way - all underlying tickets economy variety.
PQF: 18 (actual segments higher due to basic economy tickets)
PQP: 4,000 (not by design, I promise! All flight PQP; includes starter PQP)
Hit the above on BOS-SFO. Has the entire there seats to myself. Slept like a baby for most of the flight. We went around with less than 100 feet to go due to late exiting runway traffic per pilot.

Having started this thread each year for about the decade, I have observed the participation and popularity of this thread has taken a dive since the introduction of the PQP/PQF threshold to qualify for status/milestone each year.
My casual observation:
. Looks like a 1/2 MM BIS year for you at least!
My casual observation:
- There is a less of "frequent" flying involved. This is, after all, a "frequent" flyer community. While we continue to get posts from those who treasure BIS as a more accurate measure of flying (myself included), posting BIS number does not mean one achieves particular tier of airline status.
- PQP is more about spending. Having qualified through PQP does not automatically mean one flies a lot. It is just meeting $ threshold in obtaining certain tire of airline elite status.
- Milestone means more about spending and flying. Many decide not to post because it is more about spending.
- PQF is more relevant about flying but it would be nice to have United providing us with year-to-date BIS information. I think most of the people decide not to post because needing to calculate BIS number periodically. United got rid of BIS per flight and year-to-date BIS balance in its member area of App and website. One has to look up city pair BIS and may need to create a spreadsheet to keep track. Too much work.
