If you have not been informed you are requalified for 2024 GS status, you should be seeing a message asking you to check back after 12 pm on January 12th (no time zone specified).

Interestingly, the earned GS in our household has the "Congratulations, blah blah blah..." message for requalifying on mystatus.united.com, but the MM companion has the "We’re still determining our United Global Services invitation list for 2024. Blah blah blah..." message. Correspondingly, the earned GS digital Mileage Plus card has 1/2025 expiration, but the MM companion still has 1/2024. If I am remembering correctly, this has been the same scenario in previous years, and the MM companion doesn't get "invited" until later?

What is the appropriate way to request a GS challenge?

Email or call GS Mileage Plus but the final GS round isn't done until January. If you aren't already GS then you need to wait until next year when the final notifications go out.

What were your numbers for the past few years?

I was GS for a couple of years via Pass Plus and this year im just shy of 36k PQP (UA Metal) based out of CLE and Ive got $15k in travel booked in January, so hoping that a challenge may be possible.

I believe this is done due to MM may change their designated companion by the November 30 deadline (for status of the following year), so there is a delay in reflecting the status of companion expiration date of the current designated.
