Group check-in process?

Group check-in process?
I had some questions about a group booking I have in a few weeks. I've gotten to know the UA group desk agents very well, and while many of them are excellent, I didn't feel like calling, waiting, and then risking getting an agent who couldn't answer my questions.
We're a group of 17 going to the same destination, but 14 are leaving ex-DEN, two ex-IAD, and I'll be going myself from SFO. All on the same booking made directly with the UA group desk.
None of us can do OLCI, right? Do we all have to go to the group check-in counter to check-in (even me and the group of two at IAD)?
The group check-in at DEN is on the southern end of level 6 facing the hotel, right?
