Splitting Award Tickets?
I'm looking into booking award tickets for the fall for two people.
If I end up having a paid trip to the same location around the same time, can I ask United to split the PNR, and then cancel one of them?
Alternatively, I could book two separate tickets, but then, if changes are made, they may not be the same across both tickets.

If an all UA itin, easy split. It gets trickier with partner award flights. Use an agent to cancel and be careful the surviving ticket is the original PNR.
