That does not count. Needs to be dripping with icing with prominent fake cinnamon lines. What you got there is practically a fruit / vegetable with that fruit compote on top.

Possible to order online a box of the Cinnamon rolls that UA serves on flights?

According to that thread with sources inside the UA kitchens, it was Campbell's Foodservice. The links are dead though and I can't find anything with a quick search on their site. Maybe it was discontinued?

At this point, I'm just happy if the "bread" is warm and not in packaging.
But yes, no matter how disgusting the breakfast was, I could always count on the cinnamon roll to save the same. Same intl biz dinner, I could always count on the ice cream sundae. Now, I'm lucky if I get any dessert at all, let alone ice cream

Sticky fingers

I always felt guilty choosing the cinnamon roll back in the day but never regretted it. Except that I always ended up with sticky fingers . . . ya gotta pull that thang apart to eat it properly. Not with a knife and fork like a Seinfeld candy bar.

I always used a knife and fork precisely to avoid sticky fingers!

I too used to love the cinnamon rolls.

re: the comments on the "croissants"... yeah they're like slightly sweet bread... not actual croissants.

Before the merger CO had real croissants - buttery and flaky just like they should be. What is served now is a very mediocre roll in the shape of a croissant. Definitely not chef-inspired thats for sure. Close your eyes and eat it and 100/100 people would NOT identify it as a croissant.

To be honest, Im glad the basket is gone

Do yall know how many leftover rolls I used to consume‽ I once had four on a flight. Four. Sweet. Cinnamon. Rolls. And a croissant.

My blood sugar certainly thanks UAL for this cut service flow enhancement

UAs F/J service is garbage and they honestly dont care. Go with AA or DL if you want a decent in-flight meal in a premium cabin from a US carrier. I am a 1K but cant fly UA on transcon flights anymore sadly.

"... prominent fake cinnamon lines ...", excellent .

Makes me hungry, and feel like I have to loosen my belt, just looking at the picture. Very healthy and not at all fattening!

Wait, are they now cutting more by removing one sausage link and chopping the remaining one in half?

Not quite sure - I don't have a reference point to BOG catering pre-pandemic. But it would not surprise me.
