Do you want to go through immigration to get the PQF? I will pass the offer if UA charges me minimal fares.

Makes segment running a little more interesting at least.

UA tried to sell me a mileage ticket FCO-EWR-YYZ-IAH, all with short layovers. So that may be how they're filling it...

I would take it and hope for a schedule change or EWR irops.

Ha, this was in addition to the easy-peasy FCO-EWR-IAH and two-stop US itineraries. Bizarre.

Looks like the craziness will calm down in July

https://aeroroutes.com/eng/220627-uajul22ewr

Newark – Toronto Reduce from 269 to 124 flights (w/c 17-23JUL22: Reduce from 61 to 28 weekly)
I've been mainly flying (full) EWR-YUL UA routes, how busy have the EWR-YYZ ones been?

I imagine part of this reduction must be associated with UA's announced plan to scale back EWR operations during the summer.

it is, as I mentioned in that thread, and those are easy cuts to make.

back to 9x daily after Labor Day, although maybe they’ll adjust those schedules closer to the time?

The busiest North American route is YYZ-LGA with 16,000+ flights per year

https://newsinamerica.com/en/airline...orlds-busiest/

I guess UA is trying to grab a piece of pie via EWR.

Recently I found 38 services between YYZ/YTZ and NYC (LGA, EWR & JFK) … and that was on a Saturday.

That’s an incredible amount of traffic. UAs introduction of CRJ550s was a game changer for me. Great service.
